Tampa Garden Club Hosts Begonia Horticulture Class on October 7

Tampa residents can spend a colorful morning learning about begonias at the Tampa Garden Club on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The horticulture class will be held at 2629 Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa and is presented by Michelle James.

The program focuses on growing and caring for begonias in Florida’s heat and humidity. Attendees can expect practical plant-care guidance, a presentation, and time for questions about choosing, placing, and maintaining these versatile flowering plants.

A begonia plant sale and raffle are also planned, giving local gardeners a chance to discover new varieties and bring home fresh inspiration. The ideas can translate easily to containers, shaded patios, entry gardens, and colorful residential landscapes throughout Tampa Bay.

The class is designed for both experienced gardeners and people who are just beginning to explore plants. Registration and the latest availability are handled through the organizer’s event listing, so attendees should confirm details before heading out.
