Tampa Invites Residents to Help Plan 56-Acre K-Bar Ranch Park
Tampa is planning a 56-acre park at K-Bar Ranch. The city invites residents to share ideas at a project launch meeting Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cross Creek Park & Recreation Center, 19019 Basset Creek Drive.
The site has room for multipurpose athletic fields, trails, picnic facilities, and play areas. These remain planning possibilities, not completed amenities. The city reports planting 10,300 saplings in the area over the past year and plans to combine recreation with preservation of its natural setting.
