Tampa Police Memorial Run Returns October 10 With 5K and One-Mile Walk

The 32nd annual Tampa Police Memorial Run takes place Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Lykes Gaslight Park. The community event honors fallen Tampa police officers and welcomes runners, walkers, and spectators.

The 5K starts at 8 a.m., followed by the one-mile fun run and walk at 9 a.m. Organizers say the event will proceed rain or shine. Thirty-two officers will run together in remembrance of the department’s 32 fallen officers.

Online registration closes October 7. Race-day registration is available from 6 to 9 a.m. outside the Tampa Police Museum at 411 North Franklin Street. Registered participants have packet pickup on Friday, October 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the museum.

Proceeds support the museum, memorial scholarships, charitable donations, and the memorial monument. Review the City of Tampa announcement for registration links, packet pickup, and program details.
